Wow, we had a pretty exciting visit from U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin earlier this month! Did you know that when consumers buy items online, websites are not required to display the country of origin for the product being sold because our labeling laws were written before online shopping existed? Senator Baldwin’s bipartisan-sponsored COOL Online Act proposes to update our country of origin labeling laws so online shoppers can know where the products they’re buying were made and where they’re being sold from. This type of labeling is already required when shopping in person at brick-and-mortar stores. The COOL Online Act would close this online loophole. As creators of Wisconsin-made products, we were happy to endorse this legislation. It has always been important to us to be able to keep our manufacturing local to Wisconsin. We know it matters to our customers, too.

We invited one of our manufacturing partners, Craig Carpenter of Structures Company, to join us. Structures Company manufactures parts for the CobraHead Long Handle and the CobraHead Broadfork. Craig’s workshop is just two miles down the road from us.
